Hello, Jamie! Thank you for joining us today. For those who aren't familiar, could you introduce yourself and your endeavors? What path led you to become an iGaming affiliate?
As a seasoned iGaming professional, with over 15 years spanning various roles including top casino brands and owning an affiliate site in Online Bingo, my focus has been on digital marketing . This focus has led me to establish my current affiliate venture centered around video content and SEO, predominantly targeting UK casinos.
Currently, which project stands as your centerpiece? We’d love to hear more about its background, vision, and future trajectory.
FruitySlots undoubtedly remains our priority in the affiliation domain. We've observed significant growth in the UK market, not merely from our SEO , but also through video content streaming. We've cultivated a thriving community of 50,000 YouTube subscribers actively engaging with our streams and content. Recently, we've expanded into other marketing techniques like SEO, prompting large-scale website renovations to further enhance competitiveness in this dynamic market.
What's the experience like being an iGaming affiliate in the UK? How do you view this market's landscape?
The UK market presents intriguing challenges, as some of the most notable affiliates grapple to sustain casino placements, and many partners convey a shortfall of affiliates delivering quality traffic. Despite these challenges, we observe promising trends on Google and are committed to continuing our investment in the UK arena.
Are there plans for your business to expand beyond the UK borders? With the industry consistently evolving and new opportunities emerging, do you see potential in tapping into other markets?
With a domain appealing to a global slot audience, we're diligent about exploring cross-border opportunities and casino markets. Our prior attempts emphasized the need for solid foundations in geo-targeting. This learning experience, supported by your exemplary services, guides our focus as we expand to territories keen on slots and casinos . Adopting a phased strategy, we capitalized on the UK market's potential while preparing for future geographical expansions.
Your projects appear across numerous platforms. Which one has shown to be most beneficial for your operations, and what hurdles have you encountered in this journey?
Believing strongly in a comprehensive marketing approach, I advocate doing what aligns with budget constraints for optimal ROI. Thanks to our pioneering role in UK video content on YouTube, we experienced massive viewership growth, laying the groundwork for leveraging current video-focused tactics to bolster our SEO efforts. While both video and SEO are valuable, SEO proves most advantageous in the UK, albeit the challenge of major website restructuring which fluctuated our search engine rankings.
It seems that you're selective when it comes to listing casinos on your site. Could you elaborate on the standards and criteria you apply in these evaluations?
Indeed, having witnessed multiple affiliate closures with pending commissions due to casino shutdowns, I'm keenly aware of the importance of selecting solid partners, particularly in the UK. While new casino ventures matter, players increasingly prioritize product offerings amidst regulatory shifts. Our acquisitions reflect this, underscoring the value of superior resources for our community with a player-centric approach.
Speaking of partnerships, how can affiliate managers reach out to you for potential collaborations? What prerequisites do you have for online casinos to meet before forming partnerships?
An intriguing inquiry. We notice less direct conversation with those to whom we deliver consistent traffic due to well-defined parameters. This shift contrasts with the past's uncertainties, suggesting a plateau in market manipulations. Affiliates and managers are well-versed with eCPAs and budget accordingly.
